About the brand

Alcon has been at the forefront of vision care for decades, developing lens materials and surface technologies that aim to keep lenses breathable, hydrated and comfortable across long days of wear. That same expertise extends beyond contact lenses into dry-eye relief and lens hygiene, which is why so many optometrists know the range well and fit it day to day.

The contact lens line-up

The daily disposable range centres on Dailies AquaComfort Plus, Dailies Total 1 and Precision1, while Total30 leads the reusable side and the Air Optix family covers monthly wear, including Air Optix plus HydraGlyde and Air Optix Night & Day Aqua. There are also Freshlook and Air Optix Colors options if you’d like a tint.

Many of these lines come in toric designs for astigmatism and multifocal designs for presbyopia, so there’s often an Alcon lens that matches both your prescription and your routine. Your optometrist can confirm which design suits your eyes — the right lens depends on more than the brand alone.

Daily or reusable?

Daily disposables are fresh each morning with nothing to clean — ideal for part-time wear, travel and sport, and a hygienic choice for sensitive eyes. Reusables such as Total30 and the Air Optix monthlies can be more economical for regular, everyday wear, provided they’re cleaned and stored correctly between uses. Compare daily contact lenses and monthly contact lenses to see what suits you.

Lenses for astigmatism and presbyopia

If you have astigmatism, a toric lens such as Dailies Total 1 for Astigmatism or Air Optix plus HydraGlyde for Astigmatism is designed to sit stably and correct the irregular curve of the eye. For presbyopia — the gradual change that makes near focus harder — multifocal designs aim to give clear vision across distances. These are fitted to measurements your optometrist takes, so an in-person check often makes the difference to comfort and vision.

More than contact lenses

Alcon also makes eye care you may already use. Their Systane lubricating drops support dry, gritty or tired eyes, while Opti-Free and AOSEPT feature in our contact lens solutions range for cleaning, disinfecting and storing reusable lenses.

Ordering with your prescription

Contact lenses are a prescribed medical device, so you’ll need a current, valid prescription to order. If yours is due for review, our optometry team can help — and reorders are quick once your details are on file. We’ll never fit a lens that isn’t right for your eyes, so an up-to-date prescription matters.

Caring for your lenses

For reusable Alcon lenses, pair them with a suitable contact lens solution to clean, disinfect and store between wears, and follow your optometrist’s advice on wear time and replacement to help keep your eyes healthy and comfortable.
