Most full-rim frames are suitable, but every frame is reviewed before production. Some old, brittle, damaged, previously repaired, rimless, semi-rimless or highly curved frames may require extra confirmation or may not be suitable.
Lens replacement involves removing your existing lenses and fitting new lenses into your current frame. We take reasonable care with every frame, but old, brittle, damaged, previously repaired, rimless, semi-rimless or fragile frames may be more likely to break during handling or fitting. If we believe your frame is unsuitable, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
Please contact us before sending valuable, sentimental, discontinued or irreplaceable frames.
Sometimes. Rimless frames require thinner lens materials and careful mounting, so Standard 1.50 lenses are not suitable. Please choose Thin 1.60 or Extra Thin 1.67. If your rimless frame has no usable lenses, we may request photos or extra confirmation before proceeding.
Curved or wraparound frames may require special lens designs and may not be suitable for all prescriptions. We may request front and side photos before production.
Sometimes. Curved or wraparound sunglasses may require special lens designs and may not be suitable for all prescriptions. We may request front and side photos before production.
Yes. Standard prepaid shipping both ways is included. We provide a prepaid label to send your frame to us, then return your completed glasses with tracking.
Yes. Express prepaid shipping both ways is available at checkout for $9.99. Express speeds up transit time only; lens production, prescription review and fitting time remain the same.
Most orders are completed in 1–2 weeks from when we receive your frame and prescription. This includes order review, lens production, fitting and return delivery.
Express prepaid shipping is available at checkout and reduces transit time only. Complex prescriptions, multifocals, rimless frames or special-order lenses may take longer.
We only begin production after we receive your frame and confirm your prescription, frame suitability and lens selection. If we need photos, measurements or a different lens option, we’ll contact you before making your lenses.
We email you a prepaid shipping label. Please send your glasses in a hard case, protective box or well-padded parcel. If you are unsure how to safely post your frame, contact us before sending it.
Transit Protection is an optional cover level for your entire Lens Replacement cart: $10 for up to $500 total cover, $20 for up to $1,000, or $30 for up to $1,500. It covers loss or damage while your frames and completed glasses are in transit, and includes signature on return delivery.
Transit Protection applies to parcels while in transit. It does not cover pre-existing frame damage, fragile frame condition, unsuitable frames, damage during lens fitting, or sentimental/irreplaceable value.
Transit Protection is optional. If your frame is valuable, designer, discontinued or difficult to replace, we recommend considering it or contacting us before ordering. Please do not send valuable, sentimental or irreplaceable frames without contacting us first.
No. Contact lens prescriptions and glasses prescriptions are different. Please provide your glasses prescription where possible. If you are unsure, upload a photo of your prescription or choose Email Prescription Later and we’ll review it before production.
You can choose Email Prescription Later and send your prescription after checkout. You can usually request your glasses prescription from your previous optometrist by calling or emailing them.
If your current prescription lenses are still in the frame, we may be able to measure them and use them as a reference during review. This may not replace an up-to-date glasses prescription, so we recommend providing your current glasses prescription wherever possible.
Choose Distance for driving, TV and general far vision. Choose Reading for books, phone use and close-up tasks. Choose Computer for desktop screens and desk work. If you are unsure, select Not Sure and we’ll review your order before production.
Sometimes, but please contact us first. Online multifocal lens replacement is best suited to frames that already contain multifocal lenses, because the existing lenses can help us confirm fitting height and positioning.
If your optometrist changes your prescription within 3 months of your order, we’ll remake your lenses once in the same frame. You’ll need to provide the updated prescription.
This applies to the same frame and equivalent lens choices. Changes to lens thickness or treatment may require a price difference.
Yes. Lens coatings are covered for 12 months against manufacturing faults such as peeling, crazing or delamination under normal use.
This does not cover scratches from normal wear, heat damage, chemical damage, improper cleaning, misuse, frame damage or frame failure.
Yes. These protections are provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
After payment confirmation, we’ll provide an itemised invoice you can submit to your health fund, where eligible. Claiming depends on your extras cover, annual limits, waiting periods and your fund’s claiming rules.
