Lens Replacement
- Can City Optics replace lenses in my existing frame?
Yes. Lens replacement is available online from $49 for eligible existing frames. City Optics reviews your frame and prescription before production.
- Is shipping included with lens replacement?
Standard prepaid shipping both ways is included for Lens Replacement orders within Australia, with Express available at checkout where offered.
- Can my frame break during lens replacement?
Lens replacement involves removing old lenses and fitting new ones. Old, brittle, damaged, rimless, semi-rimless or fragile frames may carry higher risk, so City Optics checks frame suitability before proceeding.
- How long does lens replacement take?
Most orders are completed within 10-20 business days from when we receive your frame and prescription. Complex prescriptions, multifocals, rimless frames, special-order lenses and courier delays may take longer.
- What protections are included?
Lens Replacement orders may include Made-to-Prescription Assurance, a 3-Month Prescription Change Warranty, a 12-Month Lens Coating Warranty and, for eligible multifocal orders, a 30-Day Multifocal Fit Guarantee.
