The permitted SafeStyle prescription frame-and-lens combinations offered in this builder are supplied as one completed unit to AS/NZS 1337.6:2012 medium-impact requirements. Certification does not apply to the frame by itself or to lenses fitted outside the certified system.

Do not remove or alter the side shields, re-glaze the frame, or use an uncertified repair. View SafeStyle certification information.

Your employer or workplace must confirm the protection category required for the specific hazards and tasks. This eyewear is not a substitute for specialised protection such as welding eyewear.

Starting package: the selected frame, Single Vision Phoenix 1.53 clear prescription lenses with hard coat, certified fitting and optical team review.

Included accessories: hard case, lanyard, microfibre pouch and cleaning cloth.

Optional upgrades: Prime or Premium multifocal, bifocal and vocational lens designs; eligible higher-index materials; tinted, polarised and photochromic finishes; and coating upgrades where shown in the builder. Vocational lenses extend the near and intermediate viewing zones for office and close work.

The builder shows only the lens combinations available for this model and prescription range. Upgrade prices are added to the complete-pair total as you configure the lenses.

Upload or enter a current glasses prescription in the builder, or choose to email it after checkout. Enter one or two PD measurements, use the online camera tool, or email your PD later.

Multifocal, bifocal and vocational lenses also require fitting heights. After checkout, City Optics sends the photo instructions. You do not need to have the frame: take a clear, straight-on photo of your face while holding a standard bank card flat against and touching your forehead, with the card details facing away. Our Penrith team calculates and reviews the fitting heights.

Production remains on hold until the prescription, PD and any required fitting photo are complete and approved.

Delivery: delivery estimates at checkout include production and shipping. Your order remains on hold until all required prescription and fitting details are approved. Standard delivery is free within Australia and New Zealand.

60-day fit and vision support: contact us within 60 days if the fit, comfort or vision is not right. We will work through an adjustment or remake first, then refund if the issue remains unresolved.

Manufacturer cover: manufacturing defects are covered for 12 months; progressive-lens non-adaptation is supported within 3 months; and coating manufacturing defects are covered for 2 years. Accessory manufacturing defects are covered for 30 days.

Normal wear, scratches, loss, theft, misuse, heat, chemicals, accidents and customer-entered errors are excluded. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply. Read the full returns policy.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about prescription safety glasses

Quick answers about certification, pricing, fit, prescriptions and delivery.

Are these prescription safety glasses certified?

The permitted frame-and-lens combinations offered in this builder are supplied as one completed unit to AS/NZS 1337.6:2012 medium-impact requirements. Certification does not apply to the frame alone or to lenses fitted outside the certified system. View SafeStyle certification information.

What does the starting price include?

The complete-pair starting price of $299.73 includes this frame, Single Vision Phoenix 1.53 clear prescription lenses with hard coat, certified fitting, optical team review, a hard case, lanyard, microfibre pouch and cleaning cloth. Lens upgrades add to the total.

Can I send my prescription and PD after ordering?

Yes. Choose the email-later options in the builder, then email your order number, current glasses prescription and PD to online@cityoptics.com.au. Production remains on hold until our optical team approves the required details.

Why do multifocal, bifocal and vocational lenses need a photo?

These designs need fitting heights. After checkout, City Optics sends instructions for a straight-on face photo with a standard bank card held flat against and touching your forehead, details facing away. You do not need to have the frame. Our Penrith team calculates and reviews the measurements before production.

What are vocational lenses?

Vocational lenses extend the clear near and intermediate zones for office, screen and close work. They are not intended to replace everyday distance multifocals or task-specific workplace eye protection.

How long will my order take?

Delivery estimates at checkout include production and shipping. Your order remains on hold until all required prescription and fitting details are approved. Standard delivery is free within Australia and New Zealand.

What if my prescription is outside the online range or contains prism?

Email your complete prescription to online@cityoptics.com.au for an individual suitability check. Prism prescriptions are reviewed case by case by the laboratory, so supply cannot be confirmed until that review is complete. Upload or email the prism exactly as your optometrist issued it; City Optics will not automatically split or alter the values.

How do I check fit, and what if the fit or vision is not right?

Compare the verified dimensions with a comfortable pair or ask our optical team for help. After delivery, City Optics stores can assist with fitting adjustments. Contact us within 60 days if fit, comfort or vision is not right; we will work through an adjustment or remake first, then refund if the issue remains unresolved.

Can I receive an itemised health-fund or employer invoice?

The order is itemised using the applicable frame and prescription-lens codes. We can provide an invoice for your records, but eligibility and reimbursement depend on your health fund or employer. Confirm their requirements before ordering.

How do I know whether this eyewear suits my workplace?

Ask your employer or workplace safety representative which protection category is required for your hazards and tasks. Medium-impact prescription safety eyewear is not suitable for every environment and does not replace specialised protection such as welding eyewear.
